No, submitting your website for google adsense is not wrong, but submitting it with no content at all is a mistake. If you are a blogger and want your blog website to get approved by adsense, then start writing blog articles as early as possible. Even if you manage to write and publish 10-12 quality articles, there is a high probability that your application is going to get rejected by adsense. And by the way this is the only method that worked for the approval of our own website. So read till last. There is 90% chance that with more than 25 indexed webpages and proper submitted sitemaps, your website will get approved by adsense within a week. Why we are so confident regarding sitemaps and indexed web pages? Well look for yourself: Literally every blog posts of our website was indexed in the search console, but not submitted in the sitemap file. And why these web pages wasn't submitted in the sitemap file? Because the sitemap file itself weren't submitted in the search console in the first place. The upper data shows how the number of affected pages in 'Indexed, not submitted sitemap' changed right after submitting the sitemap file. On December 14, none of our blog pages were submitted on the sitemap, or you can say the sitemap itself weren't submitted. Right after we submit our sitemap file on the google search console, the number of affected pages drops from 40 to 24 in a single day. And on December 19, just 5 days after we submit our sitemap file, 35 out of our 40 blog posts were successfully submitted in the sitemap file and that's when we decided to apply for the google adsense for our website. So, how did our website got approved for adsense then? Well read and wait for what happened or just click here. Why Sitemaps Are Important In The Approval Process Of Adsense? Well, most of the beginners and even experienced website owners are clueless about the concept of sitemaps and how it works in the process of displaying your webpages on the google search result. One thing to keep that in mind about sitemap is that it is the most important thing when it comes to the SEO and SERP (Search engine results page) of your website. Hire a professional or look at tutorials online on how to create a sitemap of your website. Many of beginner website owners are not even familiar with the word 'Indexing' and are wondering - What is this and how it is going to get my website adsense approved? Web page indexing involves assigning keywords, description or phrases to web pages or web sites within a metadata tag (or "meta-tag") field, so that the web page or web site can be retrieved with a list. This method is commonly used by search engine indexing. In simple words, indexing of web pages is like requesting for your individual web pages to be appear in google or any kind of search engine. Google adsense wants your web pages to be first indexed on the Google SERP. That's why you should write at least 30 or more articles, by this even if 25 of your blog posts are successfully indexed in the search result, you can still submit your website your website for adsense approval. When we write a new article or create a new web page, it appears to us like any other web page on the internet does. But that doesn't mean it is also going to appear in the search results. If you search for the created page on google, it won't automatically show up on google. Sometimes it does (Thanks to the submitted sitemaps), and sometimes the indexing process has to be done manually in the search console. Now, how to submit and index each URL in the google search console? Follow these steps: Visit: https://search.google.com/search-console (First connect your website to the google search console, otherwise nothing would work). In your live site, copy the URL of the web page you want to index. Go to the URL inspection tool or paste on the search bar of google search console and press enter. URL inspection tool will now show the coverage of the entered link. It the pasted link is already submitted in the sitemap, then click on 'Request Indexing'. Now, repeat this process for all your important pages and make sure each one of them are already been submitted in the sitemap. Now wait for 2-3 days (sometimes it takes 1 to 2 weeks) for google to index your webpage. To check whether your web pages are indexed successfully or not, click on 'Coverage' in the Index tab and then click on valid pages. Here you can see all the web pages that are successfully indexed or excluded in the search console. Conclusion There is literally no way we can talk about what worked for other websites or what not. So lets talk about how we got adsense approval for our website, well this website. We had more than 30 blog posts indexed on google and that was a good thing. But the only thing we weren't aware of (as a beginner) was the importance of sitemaps. Not submitting the sitemap file was the only thing that kept us from getting approved by google for its adsense partner. Google cares about your website's visibility in the search results, that's why it wants your sitemaps to be submitted. Without proper sitemaps, there is no actual structure of a website. Make sure around 25 or more of your blog posts are indexed properly without any errors. Remember, sitemap submission and important web pages indexing should be your first priority. Even if you get approved by adsense, there is still no guarantee that people are going to visit your website through search results. Google search console is what going to drive traffic to your website. It not only index your web pages for starters, but also gives opportunities to improve your SEO (Search engine optimization) by displaying the keywords, queries and their impact of ranking on your web pages. GAUSSIAN BLUR The Gaussian Blur filter gives a hazy effect by blurring the image or selected area by an adjustable amount. The smaller the area you select, the less blur you’ll get. This is a great way to bring focus to a specific part of an image. This means some objects in an image stay in focus while others are blurred. Here’s how you use this filter: Select the depth map to determine where the pixels are positioned. Alternatively, use the crosshair cursor to set the blur’s starting point. Choose an iris shape and change the curves of the blades of the iris as desired. Select Lens Blur and preview the image. To add more blur, drag the Radius slider. Click OK. 7. MOTION BLUR The Motion Blur filter applies a specific blur in a specific direction with a specific intensity. This gives the illusion of movement to a subject in your image. Select a part of the image to blur. When you select this filter, a dialog box will open. Rotate the wheel around to choose the direction of the blur, then choose the distance that you’d like the image to be blurred and by what amount. 8. RADIAL BLUR The Radial Blur filter will simulate either zooming in or rotating a camera. When you select Radial Blur, a dialog box will appear. Change the center of the blur to the place you want and set the amount of grain by using the quality setting controls. A lower amount equals a lower blur. Unfortunately, you’ll have to make your selections without seeing them previewed on your image, but you can guess how they will look by examining the white part of the dialog box. SURFACE BLUR The Surface Blur filter blurs the entire image except for the edges. Using a high radius will cause you to lose a lot of detail in your image, but the Threshold will allow Photoshop to look at the pixels in the radius and figure out how they should be blurred. This filter is a great way to smooth out skin. However, without taking some additional steps, the filter can smooth out too much detail and texture, making the image look fake. If you add a layer mask to your layer and use your brush tool with the mask selected, you can get back some of the detail you want. Or, you can brush over with black in the areas where you want more detail. 12. FIELD BLUR The Field Blur can help you blur part of a portrait while still being able to see the subject’s eyes or even their entire face. Once you select Field Blur, you’ll see the Blur Gallery open. Also, your entire image will be blurred, and you’ll see a little circle in the middle. The circle is called a “pin” which can be moved or duplicated. Alternatively, you can drag the slider located in the top left corner of the Blur Gallery. 13. IRIS BLUR The Iris Blur filter uses a lot of the same technology and techniques as the Field Blur, but it gives you more control over the blurring of a subject’s eyes. The differences are that with Iris Blur, you: Can change the shape of the ellipse to be more circular or flat by manipulating any of the four points around the ellipse. You can even drag the ellipse outside of the image to blur just the corners. Control the transition or gradient of the blur in the transition area. The space between the center of the iris (where the pin would be) to the edge of the four transition points will have no blur. But, a gradual blur can be applied from the transition point to the 100% blur line. Control the line curve by manipulating the little diamond that’s on the 100% blur line. Dragging the diamond changes the shape of the ellipse to a rectangle with rounded corners. Change the transition of just one part of the ellipse by holding Option (Mac) or Alt (Windows). Change the focus in the transition area by adjusting the Focus slider in the Blur Gallery. 14. TILT SHIFT The Tilt-Shift filter prevents perspective distortion by controlling the plane of focus. Sometimes it’s also used as a way to make an image look as though it was shot up close with a macro lens, rendering the subjects look like mini versions of themselves. The different components of Tilt-Shift are similar to the Iris Blur, except the solid lines create a protected area without a blur (unless the Focus is adjusted). The dotted lines represent the 100% blur line. Between the solid and dotted lines is where the blur will transition or form a gradient. 15. PATH BLUR Path Blur is the fourth of five blur filters in the Blur Gallery available in Photoshop CC and later. It enables you to add motion effects along a path to images. ...
